Jacob, my son, has Autism. We have entered a contest to help raise awareness about Autism while at the same time, giving Jacob the opportunity to get a free iPad. If he sells 60 pieces of this amazing artwork, then he gets a free iPad. We would appreciate it if you would buy a piece or two. The Puzzling Piece is a great nonprofit organization that has helped many other children who have Autism.
You can purchase this artwork at The Puzzling Piece iPad Challenge. Please make sure that you put either my name or his name in the box; otherwise, he will not receive credit. His name is Jacob Klein and mine is Holley Jacobs. We will not know who has bought something; only how many pieces have been sold. They are unable to keep track of who bought a piece for Jacob's new iPad.
So, please, after purchasing an item or two, let us know in the comments section of this post so we can personally thank you for your consideration and thoughtfulness. You will be making a great contribution to a wonderful charity, getting a great piece of artwork, and enabling Jacob to further his education.
Thank you for your time and consideration. The Puzzling Piece Challenge is something we are looking forward to participating and help raise awareness for Autism as well.

This first gallery is symbolic nature of how my best friend and soul mate met. It was definitely in the stars. Everything worked out just as it was meant to and to Tony Holland, I dedicate my love, my life, and my soul to you. Tony is my backbone and my shoulder to cry on. We both call each other out and in such a way that it is constructive and not destructive way. I depend on his support above anyone else and that is because he is always there for me, not matter the what, the why, or the how. My Tony is right there by my side. I could not have asked for a better best friend, soul mate, and partner.
This second gallery is a risk I took in order to try something new. I love flowers, hearts, abstract, and eyes but I also adore my cats. So, I am going out on a limb here and tied working with the butterflies. I enjoy the nature theme. I hope you enjoy and please I would love any feedback, suggestions, or comments regarding this gallery. Do I continue with the Butterflies as part of my brand?

This gallery is far from complete but I wanted to put a blog post out about halfway through uploading the digital prints to bring some attention to this website. I want to make is clear again in that EVERY product in all of the galleries will allow you to donate money to your favorite charity and you don't have to pay a thing. I do all the work for you. Upon completion and payment, 50% of my profit will be donated to the nonprofit organization of your choice. You just provide me with the name of the charity and I will take of the rest. The monies will be directly dispersed to any nonprofit organization that you wish. I also will both of our names in recognition and give us both credit for donating the monies.
Everyone wins in this situation so take advantage of this offer while it lasts. Best of luck and have a wonderful day.

This is a picture of my current uploads. I haven not posted recently due to my educational program. I worked hard this term but whenever I needed to unwind. This is why I have many more to upload but these are starters at least. I am proud of my work and I hope it inspires others as that is goal of mine. Anyone and everyone has a creative talent. It only took me only 17 years to realize it. My best creativity cam out then so I am just glad I have this passion.
Please note that 50% of all of my proceeds go to the buyer's charity of choice.

I haven't painted eyes in quite a while. I have slowly built the most beautiful results that you see in my newest gallery Summer Time. Eyes are the one place you can look at someone and know their intentions, goals, determination, honesty, and trust that establishes their character. I also love painting eyes as they, to me, are a direct correlation of what a child with Autism is thinking or needing. Some would say that there is nothing there. I beg to differ and know that there is a human being, an innocent child, or a teenager behind those eyes. And behind those eyes there are goals, aspirations, and a loving compassionate person that is trying desperately to let this world into their own.
My son has Autism and was diagnosed almost 15 years ago and I have since, been around many children with Autism. Although they may not speak or show "typical" signs of understanding, they ALL really do on some level. It is our responsibility as parents, teachers, doctors, and the community at large to figure out the best way to assist them in communicating their needs and desires. They are not dumb; in fact, quite the opposite is true. They experience the same feelings as those without Autism. They are certainly a puzzle that we have to put together and then, they will be whole. Once whole they can begin to let us into their lives 100% of the time.
I am blessed and inspired by my son. He lights up my life and has my heart full of love for him beyond this universe. The bond that lies between a parent and a child who has Autism is one of the most powerful, understanding, complicated, and life long experiences I have ever had the pleasure to be allowed to participate in.
I know that my son, Jacob depends on me not for food, shelter, or clothes as the most important area of our relationship. Instead he depends on me to understand, protect, encourage, guide and forever be here when he needs me. That is one of the best feelings I have ever experienced. It is a bond that will never be broken because he trusts me 100%. He knows that mom will support him in any endeavor he chooses and has no limits or boundaries in what I would do to help him.
This gallery represents what I see when I look into some people's eyes. Some are sad, some are happy, some are intelligent, and some are ignorant. Regardless, I love pictures of eyes and enjoy making them have a personality all their own.

On the anniversary of my Granny's passing I made two galleries. The first one I published yesterday. The gallery was called "Going Nuts" because I was so upset. I do not know what made me feel this way other than it gave me the creative designs in that particular gallery. This gallery "Miss Daisy" is how I felt by the end of that day. My Granny loved flowers so I decided to take my sorrow and turn inward. This gallery is the results of that inward reflection. I hope this gallery inspires others who are missing a loved one. Emotions are so powerful and seem to take my artistic avenue and I just "create". I do not think about anything other than the image I am working on at the time and of course, my music.
Anyone who knows me or reads my blogs about my art, follows my artistic design, or notices any theme, will know that I create best by "doing", NOT "thinking". My designs may not be perfect or "artist worthy" but that is not why I create art. I create art because I have developed a coping mechanism to deal with problems. That coping mechanism is represented on this website. I create my art and it makes me feel better or allows me to gain focus over my life.

Yesterday was the anniversary of my Granny's death. I had a really rough day. The only point of the day that made me feel better was when I created this Gallery as well as the Gallery called Miss Daisy. I started off the day "Going Nuts" hence - the title. Later I started to remember some good memories instead of how much I missed her and completed Miss Daisy. She was famous for pointing out flowers all the time while we were driving; distracting me and scaring me when she would scream "Look at that!". But I still miss her and love her. I feel her all around me and I am happy for that. RIP Granny 4-4--34 to 5-26-06.
